John Howard Gallagher Jr Life & Biography
John Howard Gallagher Jr. was born June 17, 1985, an American actor and musician perhaps best known for originating the role of Moritz Stiefel in Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's rock musical Spring Awakening. He recently played Johnny aka "Jesus of Suburbia" in Green Day's Broadway musical, American Idiot and Lee in the 2011 Broadway production of Jerusalem.
Gallagher was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware with his older sister. He was an avid reader and loved movies. As a child he consider being an entomologist.His parents, John, Sr. and June Gallagher, were folk musicians and his mother spent a great deal of her life's work supporting his love of music and drama.He eventually went on to play guitar for numerous bands, including Not Now Murray, What Now, Annie's Autograph, and Old Springs Pike.Before and throughout his Spring Awakening run, he was in Old Springs Pike. On January 23, 2008, his fellow band members announced his departure. The next day, Gallagher made an official announcement confirming his departure on his MySpace page. Old Springs Pike later officially changed their name to The Spring Standards.

Jordan Witzigreuter Biography & Life
Jordan Witzigreuter is the lead singer and sole member of the act. Witzigreuter commonly writes and records on his own, using a backup band when on tour. He has once stated, "The Ready Set is, always has been, and always will be just me." The name was adopt due to the artist's concern that his last name, Witzigreuter, would be difficult for people to enunciate. Jordan resides in his hometown, Fort Wayne, Indiana, when he is not on tour or soundtrack in Los Angeles, California, Atlanta. Pete Wentz, member of the pop punk band Fall Out Boy, signed The Ready Set to his label Decaydance Records on November 24, 2009. Wentz assisted Jordan in releasing his debut full-length I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming.
The Ready Set has also made performance on MTV on various occasions, as well as an appearance on MTV’s TJ Search Live Finale and being the “One to Watch” on MTV’s 10 on Top. Witzigreuter has also been featured twice on MTV’s Buzzworthy: once on December 11, 2009 as an up and upcoming artist, and again the following year on September 7, 2010, complete with an interview video and a live performance video.
Throughout multiple self-booked tours, The Ready Set has continued to prove itself as a show worth seeing as well as hearing with it’s abundant energy and emphasis on showmanship. In November 2009, Witzigreuter signed with Decaydance Records and Sire Records, both subsidiary labels of Warner Bros. Records. He released his first full–length studio album, I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming, on June 15, 2010.
