Asking Alexandria is a UK metal-core band from York, North Yorkshire. Founded in 2008, when Ben Bruce (lead guitar) has contacted some old friends after his return to Britain from Dubai, the current line-up consists of Ben Bruce, Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (guitar rhythm), Sam Bettley (bass) and James Cassells (drums).

Inception (2008–2009)

Asking Alexandria have their roots in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where guitarist Ben Bruce started a band. Shortly after the band released their first full length album under the name of Asking Alexandria, the irony of perfection, they decided to disband. Bruce, in an interview at a later date as the group known as Asking Alexandria from Dubai was named a month before reaching its dissolution, the group has never started this tour.

In 2008, Bruce moved to England, leaving behind his band and its members. However, Bruce was not going to make his musical career on hold for a long time and after the move started fresh new members, but decided to continue the name of Asking Alexandria. Bruce said the band's MySpace blog that he was the inventor of the name, they still liked it, and the importance / reasons the name has stuck, and decided to continue with the new project. He also emphasized the statement in the same post that the current Asking Alexandria is not the same band that wrote the irony of perfection, style and the members, so they are two different bands, even if their bonds . Asking Alexandria since their formation in 2008 has had some Member States changes, including moving from one room to a room of six to five, with the departure of Ryan synthist Binns. In March, Asking Alexandria are moving on their first tour of the new year, once again making its way across America, this time with Attack!, Breathe Carolina, the second label I See Stars, and up and coming metalcore British Law report tomorrow.
