Mitch Lucker from Suicide Silence Career & Life
Suicide Silence are an extreme metal band American in Riverside, California. The group consists of singer Mitch LüCKER, guitarists Chris and Mark Heylmun Garza, drummer Alex Lopez and bassist Dan Kenny. Founded in 2002, the band has released three full-length studio album, an EP and seven music videos. The group met with a great deal of praise and positive reviews, and even during the year 2009, Suicide Silence Revolver was awarded the Golden God "Best New Talent".
History
Suicide Silence was founded in 2002 in Riverside, California and was at that time, a side project of several members of other groups. The band played its first show on a local area in Riverside, and when the line-up was composed of Chris Garza and Rick Ash as guitarists Mike Bodkin as bassist, Josh Goddard as a drummer and two singers, Mitch Luck and Tanner Womack. Shortly after their first performance was Womack taken from the band and they released their first demo the following year. They released their second demo in 2004. In the past year, has had members of the band more seriously and it was no longer considered a side project, they would then advance to record their third and final demo in 2006, after the band recorded and material released his first public right to a trial quality, Suicide Silence EP which was released through the records of the third degree, and later republished in Britain by the English label of the deep End Records.
Drummer Josh Goddard left the band in 2006 and was replaced by Alex Lopez, who was the former guitarist Blacheart praise bands and the stake, before accession.
Two years later, the band was signed to Century Media, and released their debut full-length album cleaning. The album was mixed by Tue Madsen, produced by John Travis and features artwork by Dave McKean. It debuted at number 94 on the Billboard 200, selling 7250 copies in its first week of release. Sales in the final weeks, combined with the subsequent sale of clean-selling debut album in the history of Century Media. With the success of their debut album, Suicide Silence were to participate in Mayhem Festival, which took place in the summer of 2008. Later, they toured in Europe, Parkway Drive and Bury Your Dead, after a successful tour in the U.S. with the band itself. Suicide Silence followed the tour in Australia with Parkway Drive, Day to Remember The Acacia Strain and mid-2008 when they were committed to playing Fest sweat.
At this point, Suicide Silence were starting to get a wide range of fans around the world. When you come home from the trip continued, the band covers a song, "Engine No. 9" by Deftones and released the cover in a limited edition of the "Green Monster" single from iTunes as well as all of the same year.
Black Crown (2011-present)
In 2011, Suicide Silence began to prepare for their third full length album in Big Bear, Calif., with Steve Evette that the manufacturer selected. In March, the group appeared on the California Metal Festival, and a week later, the celebration of Nevada Extreme Thing to two of these performances, the group confirmed that the new album is titled The Black Crown. Working titles for the album was "Skies of cancer," "The violence of man" and "Fuck All." When he was asked by Kerrang!, Luck indicated that the lyrical themes of the album would have more personal problems that have not bleeding time normally takes place on the theme that the anti-religious cleansing place. LüCKER explained, "I have always the same faith and same view, but I am more open to all. At this point in my life, I see no good in making people hate you for what you say.
